Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men - One Sweet Day: Too many Mariah Carey duets to choose from. I miss the days when she sang incredibly poweful songs. And hellooo Shawn Stockman one of the great judges on The Sing-Off, which I obviously love (see old posts).
Salt-N-Pepa & En Vogue - Whatta Man: This is more like a groupet then a duet but I couldn't leave it out. I think I'm obsessed with SnP When asking my friend if she could think of a mighty good man, she suggested Colbert & Lincoln... So if you know any good men that dig 90s music...we apparently need help.
Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey - When You Believe: Sorry but Mariah just kills it in so many duets--you can't fight it! This song was in the Prince of Egypt but most importantly two of the greatest voices ever came together to just shut the place down (not sure what place..my room maybe?).
Brandy & Monica - The Boy is Mine: Saved the best for last of course! I did a lip sync to this song back in middle school with a good friend (who also took part in the Spice Girls dance cause you were obviously wondering). Can you guess if I was Brandy or Monica?
Also fun fact: one of the former members of Dream Street auditioned for The Voice..check out an Old Music Tuesday post with Dream Street here.
Four score and seven years ago. - Abraham Lincoln
