Here's a few links to and examples of other people blogging about horrible Halloween costumes...
Sexy costumes and more sexy costumes at thefrisky.com:
Just a few examples of making REALLY not sexy things sexy: The construction worker (boobstruction worker?).... "Sexy" Osama because those two words go so well together.. Cow ..with bra...normal.
I recently discovered my love for cake shows: Cake Boss, Ace of Cakes, Cupcake Wars, but not Ultimate Cake Off (that show stresses me out). And if you even remotely like them you will LOVE this website.
Cake Wrecks is a blog that posts about "when professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong."
I have chosen some of my favorite examples from some of their posts:
Two of their more entertaining posts shows serious problems with communication here and here:
This customer was trying to help by spelling out what was wanted on the cake...
There was supposed to be a "Gerber Daisy" on the cake not a baby...
Just a few more songs you may have forgotten about that are all awesome in their own way...
K-Ci & JoJo - All My Life: Forget how stellar this song is, instead check out the sweet suits, scarves and gloves this duo is rocking.
A*Teens - Upside Down: The ABBA tribute group's first original song and well their last taste of fame, at least it is as 90s awesome as it gets.
Ghetto Supastar - Pras featuring Mya & Ol' Dirty B.: I may, or may not, have thought this song was called "Get a Superstar" even though it never made sense to me that you would get a superstar and then say that is what you are. Notice Halle Berry in the video?
Without a song or a dance what are we?- "Thank You For The Music" by ABBA
Because I am a woman and think other women make awesome music.
Well, maybe these are not good examples of women making great music....BUT these are songs you've probably forgotten about and I want to remind you of their greatness (horribleness?).
Hoku - Another Dumb Blonde: Think Nickelodeon, year 2000 and there are likely tv shows that come to mind but that was the year the movie Snow Day came out. This song was in the movie and the music video was used to promote the movie on Nickelodeon.
Willa Ford - I Wanna Be Bad: I unfortunately couldn't find the explicit video but found the MTV edited version instead, sorry! This is such a great song that it was even in an Amanda Bynes movie (What a Girl Wants) so you know it HAS to be great.
Hilary Duff - Why Not: I mean why not do a crazy dance. You might as well because you already look like a fool for listening to Lizzie McGuire. PS is anyone else weirded out that she is married and pregnant!
No Secrets - That's What Girls Do: I do not remember this band ever existing and yet I know ALL of the words to this song. They also may be more recognized for their remake of Kids in America.
It's easy to play a bad girl: You just do everything you've been told not to do. - Eliza Dushku
